"THANK YOU" will never be sufficient

"This classroom is BIG!!!,"Anna quietly said to herself as soon as she entered that huge classroom. She is an introvert with a sprinkle of extrovert,at times. This is her first time attending to a tuition with such a big classroom which can fit almost 70 students. Big enough,isn't it? As usual, with her eyes looking down and with an emotionless face,she quickly made her way to the last seat in the classroom. She wondered how she is even going to concentrate from a seat which is so far away from the whiteboard but at the same time, she doesn't really talk well to people and she doesn't know how to keep a conversation going. And yes the only thing she is good at is to be a reserved girl,who keeps herself entertained by talking to Mr.Mind Voice. When she was just quietly using her phone, a super skinny girl walked towards her, "Can I sit here?," she asked."Yes,sure". Days and weeks passed by. It's been almost 5 weeks since she has been attending the tuition and till then she never knew,she never even asked for the name of the girl sitting next to her. This one fine day, out of nowhere, a girl who always sits at the front most seat walked towards her. Although her heads are looking down, she could see someone's walking towards her and as usual, she pretended not to see and just looked down on her phone. "Hey,hi!,"came the voice. Quickly, Anna looked up.With a broad smile on her face, a girl was standing next to her,expecting for a reply. Anna loves people approaching to her and talking to her. Anna smiled wide and shaked hand with her. They both talked together for some time. Anna felt a little weird at first but after a while, she began to have fun talking to Olivia.

Weeks passed. Both Anna and Olivia were in good talking terms and seemed to be getting on well. Anna started attending tuition earlier than usual.Neither to study nor to revise but to meet Olivia for lunch and hangout before the  tuition starts. Anna who used to be a girl who doesn't really know about the world out of her house, began to know tits and bits about society and outer world. Anna will sometimes wonder how Olivia is able to bear with her because everyone ...each and everyone who got along with her will definitely leave her because she is boring or they'll stay with her by reminding her everyday how boring she is. Anna is just so used to it and she doesn't have anymore feelings about people telling her that she is boring. Anna is sometimes really grateful that Olivia could stand her even after knowing Anna is not as smart or as good as her.Life went pretty well for both of them. Anna always looked forward to Olivia to get information about studies At times Anna felt like she's being pretty clingy but she had no other way and felt like Olivia was really helpful.

Time flew by. Nothing changed. Both these souls got closer. They both learnt about each other better. They ended up in the same college for their pre-university studies. Time went well. Lots of memories, from good to great were created together. On the final day, which was a day before leaving the college, both of them decided to create the best unforgettable memory so there they go...to party hard at one of the coolest bar nearby! Things weren't going as good as how they expected. Anna got heavily drunk, Olivia was slightly high but wasn't as bad as Anna. It's 2.00a.m., the bar was literally shaking with the loud songs. On top of all, one of the coolest and best DJ was there, so there goes the loudest and best party in the town! Olivia was really worried wondering how to bring Anna back. At the same time she was really pissed off with Anna for not listening to her and kept drinking all kind of alcohols even after knowing both of them are alone there. Olivia tried contacting all the cabs, none of them answered. Their place of residency is around 20 minutes away from the bar. It's going to be almost 3.00 a.m..Olivia realised the situation was getting worse when Anna began to vomit in the bar. Fortunately one of the bartenders helped Olivia to clean the mess Anna created. Olivia was really embarrassed but had no other option but to quietly handle Anna. Feeling unsafe, Olivia decided to ask for a favour to any outsider to send both of them back to their place. A group of three guys agreed to help them. Even though she's worried,in fact super worried about their safety, she had no other way but to just follow the guys' hoping to reach their hostel safely.

                                  

Sitting in the car, not knowing how to react to all the three boys, she hardly put on a smile pretending to look fine. After some time, one of the boys started talking to Olivia which made the situation in the car a little less awkward. Everything was pretty fine until all of a sudden, Anna closed her mouth with her hands and started to pat Olivia’s thigh hardly. "SHE WANTS TO VOMIT!!!,"screamed Olivia. The guy who was driving got so shocked and put a sudden break that everyone in the car jerked forward,and he started to shout “Don’t vomit in my car!,”. Quickly, Olivia opened the car's door and jumped out and helped Anna so that she won’t create a mess in the car. After settling everything, they all sat back and Olivia with full of guilt ,kept saying sorry to them. Olivia literally was so tired and drained out. Without realising or more to what Olivia hoped not to happen, was actually happening. It’s been more than 30 minutes and they are yet to arrive at her hostel. The car was not even going in the right way and the road was just so dark,it literally looked pitch black. “Where are we going?,” asked Olivia to the guy who was driving. “Going to wherever you are supposed to,” came the reply. She got so panicked. She could sense something is just not right. Without hesitating, Olivia pretended to call her dad and she started to tell the register number of the car and details about all her whereabouts.

All the guys in the car got alarmed. They initially planned to bring both these young girls to their place but looking at what Olivia did, the guy who was driving just pretended to be in the wrong way, and turned his car to the way that leads to the girls’ hostel. Olivia realised what was happening. She sat in there quietly, saying nothing. Almost 20 minutes later, they reached the hostel. Right when the car stopped at the back gate of the hostel, Olivia opened the door and quickly pulled Anna out. Anna who was still not sober, came out of the car thanking them loudly. Olivia tried to make Anna stand straight so that they can go into the hostel without getting caught by the security guards. Before the guys leave the place, one of the guys who was sitting at the back with them in the car, got down and asked for Olivia’s contact number telling that they can meet up whenever they are free. Olivia refused and quickly walked into the hostel. Fortunately, they didn’t get caught by the security guards and Olivia sent Anna to her room safely before going to her own room.

Entering into her,Olivia just fell freely onto he bed. She was so grateful that they were back safely. At the same time she was just thinking about all the possible things that could have happened if she didn’t make that one call! Olivia was quietly laughing to herself thinking of all that happened, thinking of all “The Drunk Anna” did along the way. A night meant to be kept as memory indeed turned into one of their best memories. Anna woke up the next morning, and quickly ran to Olivia's room. Looking at Olivia, she said "Sorry!" out loud and jumped and hugged her. If it wasn't because of Olivia, neither one of them would have been safe. With tears of gratefulness rolling down her cheeks, she quietly whispered to Anna,"Thank you,will never be enough,".
